Shop & commercial floors

Looks the part, takes the traffic

A floor customers walk across shouldn't look like a factory — but it still has to cope like one.

Showrooms, cafés, gyms, salons, storerooms out the back — these floors get walked on constantly, spilled on daily and cleaned hard. Tiles crack and the grout goes black. Vinyl lifts at the edges. A coated floor has no joins to fail.

The finish comes down to how much of it the customer sees. Out front we'd usually go for something cleaner-looking with a bit of texture; out the back, something more aggressive that's built for trolleys and deliveries.

In a lot of shops it makes sense to do both, with a neat line where they meet, rather than one compromise across the whole place.

Most of this work happens after hours or over a weekend so you don't lose trading days.

Typical jobs

What that covers

Showrooms and retail floors

Bright, seamless and easy to keep clean.

Cafés and commercial kitchens

Sealed, non-slip and built for hosing out.

Gyms and studios

Takes dropped weights and constant foot traffic.

Back-of-house and storerooms

The tougher finish, where nobody's looking.

How it works

Three steps, one person to deal with

  1. Step 1

    We come and look

We turn up, look at the concrete and ask what the floor gets used for. Then you get a fixed price in writing. It costs you nothing and you're not locked into anything.

  2. Step 2

    We get the floor ready

This is the bit that matters. The concrete gets ground back so the coating can grip it properly, and any cracks get filled first. Skip it and the floor peels later.

  3. Step 3

We lay it and hand it over

We work around you — nights and weekends if that suits better. When we're done we tell you when you can walk on it, when you can drive on it, and how to keep it looking right.

Get a price on your floor

Tell us where you are, roughly how big the floor is, and what it gets used for. We'll come out, have a look and give you a fixed price in writing — no cost and no pressure.

Not sure of the size? A single garage is around 20 m², a double is about 36 m². Near enough is fine.
