Malaga and Wangara are where a huge slice of Perth's trade businesses actually operate — mechanics, fabricators, cabinet makers, small manufacturers, mostly in a unit or three of a strata complex.
The floors here are smaller than a distribution shed but they cop a different beating. Oil, fuel, coolant and thinners go into bare concrete and don't come out, and in a closed-up unit through summer you'll smell it every time you open the roller door.
The catch with strata is that you usually can't shut down for a week and you share a wall with the unit next door. Most jobs here get done over a weekend, or a unit at a time, and it's worth saying that up front so the quote matches how the work has to happen.
