Forklift wheels, pallet jacks and dropped loads are what kill a cheap floor. Laid properly and at the right thickness, the surface doesn't chip where the forklifts turn or lift at the roller door.
Because there are no joins, there's nowhere for dirt and water to work their way in — so it sweeps and scrubs easily and it doesn't go patchy in the traffic lanes.
Where a floor really cops it — steel wheels, hot wash-downs, pallets dragged across it — we put down something thicker and harder instead. Costs more, lasts a lot longer in that situation.
Walkways, forklift lanes and racking bays can be marked out in the floor while we're laying it, so it's part of the floor rather than tape that peels up.

How it works
We turn up, look at the concrete and ask what the floor gets used for. Then you get a fixed price in writing. It costs you nothing and you're not locked into anything.
This is the bit that matters. The concrete gets ground back so the coating can grip it properly, and any cracks get filled first. Skip it and the floor peels later.
We work around you — nights and weekends if that suits better. When we're done we tell you when you can walk on it, when you can drive on it, and how to keep it looking right.
